Change We Need
The election may be over, but the work is just beginning.Visit: change.gov
Get active and work to elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden as President and Vice President of America. You can volunteer for some tabling to increase Obama's visibility and recruit voters. Throw a BBQ party to fundraise for the campaign. Phone bank to reach out to potential voters. Walk your precinct to talk with your neighbors. And wear your Obama button whenever you're out and about.
Barack Obama — constitutional scholar, civil rights attorney, community activist, state senator, and now U.S. Senator — is a courageous leader with an amazing combination thoughtfulness on complex issues, a true understanding of the struggles and opportunities for the American family, and good judgment and solid foreign policy ideas to turn America into a beneficial influence in the world to make us safer at home. We need Obama to be the next President of the United States of America.
At the all volunteer BayAreaForObama.com we are working towards Obama winning the presidency in the general election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
We need you. Visit the Action page for information about what you can do today.

We did it! On election night the major networks waited until the California polls official closed, and then they immediately called the election for Obama!

Exciting news -- we had a debate party tonight in Belmont and raised over $650. I'm hoping it helps -- as long as the rest of the campaign go as well as tonight's debate, we'll be in great shape.

I hosted a convention watching party last night at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Richmond. We had an amazing turn out. We watched history in the making, some through laughter and other through tears and all of us got fired up to elect Barack Obama the next President of the United States!!!

Lawrence Lessig -- Stanford law professor and outspoken proponent for electronic freedom -- is contemplating a run for the open seat in CD12. If you haven't heard it, you should listen to Lessig's impassioned endorsement of Obama.
